You know that there’s probably an easier way to do things — hell; you feel like you might figure it out yourself if you had five minutes of spare brain-time to put on the problem.
But your attention is so taken up making sure things don’t fall through the cracks, patching up dodgy systems, and working so very hard to keep all the plates spinning that you just don’t have the capacity.
You’ve hustled so long you honestly can’t even imagine what it would be like if your business didn’t feel like an adrenaline-inducing stress-show every day.
And so you turn to the dreadful world of “productivity hacks”. You look for systems that can support your business, and if you’re lucky, maybe, just maybe, find one that’s not more work than it’s worth.
Or maybe not.
And things just keep piling up, stalling your scalability, and making your work way harder than it has to be.
Let's fix that.
I’ve spent years as a Systems Specialist and Notion Certified Consultant talking to extremely smart, crazy-busy business owners who are working really, really hard — and finding themselves hamstrung, often by the very productivity hacks and systems they themselves have put in place to make things smoother.
Because here’s the ugly truth about productivity and systems-building. 99% of people out there teaching productivity and building systems are talking about what works for them.
If that system happens to work for you too, happy days!
But if it doesn’t, then, well…
Then it’s “your fault”. You’re “not flexible enough” or “not using the system right” or “should be more patient” or “just need to get past the learning curve.”
The core idea? You need to fit into your business and its infrastructure, not the other way around.
This is wrong.
Your business should feel like a natural, seamless extension of your self. And that’s what I do.
Everything I’ve ever done according to “the rules” has left me a bit … flat.
I had to behave in a certain way. Work in a certain system. I took all the courses, spent over $15K on trainings and apps and platforms.
Nothing. Ever. Worked. At least, not long-term.
You see, I’m on the spectrum. My brain never, ever stops. And it’s constantly looking for two things: new things to learn, and new problems to solve.
So when you put my brain in a pre-set system, the very first thing it does is stress-test it and try to break it. And I’ve never found a system I can’t break.
So I took a step back.
Set all the trainings aside, just for a bit.
And I started using all my obsessive studies on human nature, psychology, and all the other flotsam and jetsam that’s floated through my brain in years of power-nerdism and started thinking about this problem the other way round.
I started thinking about building a business that was designed to work with me and all my quirks and idiosyncrasies, rather than in spite of them.
I thought about what I really wanted. — More time with my young family. More fun. More joy. — And I started building systems that were designed to support that.
And everything finally, finally started working…
My work is about finding what works for you so you can do your best work. Know who you are and how you work and then and ONLY THEN creating the infrastructure to support that.
Because the truth is, there are a million systems out there. I could natter on at you about productivity and tech for ages. Everyone else does.
But it's all useless if it's not a fit FOR YOU.
Why not work with yourself instead of against yourself?
I’d love to help you build a pattern of productivity that feels sustainable and stable, systems that are solid enough to scale, and a business that’s balanced appropriately with the rest of your life — rather than taking up all your time and bandwidth.
If you’re ready to build a business that works with your brain, and is set up to support you in getting the things you really want, let’s chat.
